We are a friendly bunch and we welcome everybody regardless of age or gender and whether or not you have a camera.

In fact joining the RFVM before you buy a camera is a very good idea because it can help you avoid making an expensive mistake. Rapidly changing technology today makes choosing a camera a confusing minefield.

Joining the RFVM is the best thing you can do if you want to meet people interested in film making.

Our membership includes beginners, enthusiasts and professionals, so there is always someone that you can relate to, someone to answer a question, to help clear up confusion, and to share your enthusiasm to make films.

Some members are attracted to the equipment, others the software, some the script writing or acting,  whilst others simply want to come back from holiday with something half decent to impress family and friends.  All are welcome – it’s a very friendly club.

The club has the latest high definition projection and sound systems, so you will have the thrill of seeing your work on the big screen in all its glory.

We keep costs as low as we can – currently it works out at less than £1.52 a night, so it’s really a ‘no brainer’ joining.

Membership subscriptions are as follows:

  • 2021 – 2022 Season Adult   - £35 but No Sub if meetings stay online
  • Couple Membership - £50
  • Student Membership - £20

Note: Some clubs charge an annual fee plus weekly attendance, we don’t. Our subs even include tea, coffee and biscuits!
